The Vermouth L’Emilio Ambrato was born in the heart of the province of Verona from the experience of Marco Scandogliero, sommelier and creator of the artisan workshop Emilio_LAB, linked to the reality of Le 4 Ciacole.
Made according to a family recipe, it enhances the meeting between white wine, herbs and spices, in an authentic expression of the Italian tradition of vermouth.
Botanies are processed separately through infusions, distillations and alcoholic and hydroalcoholic extractions. After assembly, the vermouth rests for about 90 days, before being bottled without filtration. The caramel is the only dye used.
The result is an amber vermouth with a structured character and rich aromatic complexity, able to combine the vinous component with the notes of botanies and spices.
Ideal as an aperitif, served with ice and orange zest, it is particularly interesting also in combination with cheeses or as an ingredient for classic cocktails, including American.
